In 2022, we are planning to start a fundraising campaign in the hope of restoring the public education infrastructure & facilities in Afghanistan.

1000+ Afghanistan

For decades, Afghanistan’s people have suffered from terrorism, war, and political instability.

The aftermath of the war was a huge shock to the country, particularly the children and low-income families. Up until this moment, hundreds of thousands of Afghan people still lack consistent access to food and basic education.

The initiative aims to help 1000 Afghanistan children by providing basic necessities like food and clothing to those in urgent need, and sustainable financial support for their education.

Today, Afghanistan is facing perhaps the most serious food crisis in the decade. Destruction of the long-lasting violence combined with the collapsing local economy and climate shocks that took place in 10 provinces since September this year made the humanitarian crisis even more severe than we can imagine.

At this moment, 1 in every 4 children in Afghanistan is short of the life-saving nutrition they need, along with 18 million Afghan people (55% of its population) not getting enough food.

Food insecurity in Afghanistan

Many Afghan families are forced to leave their homes to seek food, shelter, livelihood, and drinking water sources. In the slum of Islamabad, hundreds of Pushtun Afghan refugees gathered here looking for protection and assistance yet rarely they received any. With the assistance of local volunteers, we provided food, clothing, and financial assistance for the resettlement of over 50 children. However, this is far from enough of what truly needed to be done for people in Afghanistan, and we will continue to work on our cause to meet our goal.

Next Step

We believe education is the key to ending poverty. In 2022, we started a fundraising campaign in the hope of restoring the public education infrastructure and facilities in Afghanistan. The donation will be used to purchase classroom facilities for children and subsidize local low-income families and underpaid staff and faculties to encourage school participation in underdeveloped regions.
